In order to purchase goods, you are welcome to browse the website and include any items you would like to purchase in the basket. When you are finished shopping please continue to the checkout where you will be asked to provide some personal information for shipping purposes. If you have shopped previously on the website and have registered your details then your information will already be saved and you will just need to enter your password.
You will be asked to make a payment in settlement of the cost of your purchases and to cover the postage & packing costs for these items. Payment can be made by the following methods:
1. Through PayPal / Stripe - using a debit or credit card. If the payment is made through PayPal / Stripe, the payment is processed by PayPal / Stripe and then the money will be lodged in Floppy Fabrics' PayPal / Stripe account. Please note that you do not need to have a PayPal account in order to pay by PayPal and purchase goods from Floppy Fabrics. Payments made through PayPal / Stripe are secure and their payment process employs standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology whereby credit / debit card details are encrypted for travel over the internet ensuring that they are unreadable by anyone else.
2. Cheque / Postal Order payment - if you choose to pay by cheque / Postal Order you will just be asked to include the cheque number in the details on the website and then you need to forward on your payment to the address provided. All cheques / Postal orders should be made payable to "Floppy Fabrics". Once the cheque / postal order has been received and has cleared in the bank then we will send on your goods. Please allow 3 to 5 extra working days where cheque / postal order payment is being made to allow time for the cheque / postal order to be lodged and cleared by the bank.
Shipping of Goods
Once the goods have been paid for they will be posted within one working day of the payment being received. The goods will be sent by Standard Post with An Post. The postage & packing charges will vary depending on where you live and the weight of your purchases. These charges will be included at checkout and should be paid when you place your order.
We will cover the cost of insurance of the goods until they have been received. Where goods received are faulty or damaged please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org and return them to us within 5 working days for a full refund.
Refund / Returns Policy
In the EU, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days. This 7 day "cooling off" period begins on the day when you receive your purchase. If you decide to return the goods, then they should be sent back as soon as possible in their original packaging. The costs of returning the goods will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
On receiving the returned goods, Floppy Fabrics will refund your costs as soon as possible. If you paid through PayPal, then you will be refunded directly through PayPal. Where you have paid by cheque then Floppy Fabrics will issue a cheque to you refunding your costs.
We do our best to ensure that the images on the website accurately reflect the fabrics. There is a magnification option for all of the fabrics on the website which should make the fabrics clearer to see close up. Where it is not possible to reflect accurately the fabric on the website then we will include a note to this effect. It is difficult to show the lighter colours accurately on the website and we will note where the images are not accurate.
